Industrial

Since inception, L&M electrical contractors has relied, fundamentally, on our residential and industrial clientele as constant source of engagement. Our principal and technicians our experienced in three-phase systems, just as well as, mono-phase systems and work these at almost the same percentages. If any electrical systems require an added skill level, it is industrial electrical installations. In order to, properly mold and position conduit throughout the workplace, technical and cosmetic consciousness must be engaged. Unlike residential or office settings, industrial installations require a great deal of mechanical protection; therefore, will often be installed, exposed, with Rigid or Semi-Rigid conduit. In addition, because of the setting, no gypsum or wall covering will be available to cover the MEP systems. It is for that reason that the MEP’s must be installed in an, additionally, neat method to compensate for the “unsightly” exposed MEP systems. Industrial space lighting is also a very important aspect of an industrial setting. Due to the height of most industrial locations, the lighting design must be designed adequately from inception. Often times, business owners, during construction, fail to realize the lighting requirements and maintenance that some fixtures require over others. In addition, they also fail to realize the liability of the height of these fixtures and the increased traffic below, due to production. On all of our jobsites we recommend using the least maintenance fixtures, such as, LED or Metal Halide. These will be a larger initial investment but, will end up costing less, in the long run, with reduced energy cost and lane closures impeding production time. .
